I usually try really hard not to have munchies in the house. Mostly because I have no self control and if they are around, I will eat them.
However, while strolling through Target yesterday I spotted the all the rage Pop Chips – 2 bags for $5. So I threw two bags in the cart – original and salt and pepper flavor.

The second I got home from the store, I busted the original flavor open. I like the texture, the way they taste and that they aren’t too salty. I feel like they had good flavor so there was no reason for over salting. Plus, they didn’t leave my hands greasy like regular potato chips do. Pop Chips come in seven flavors. Also, one of the things that stood out to me about the bag of chips is that they are really light weight. There are about three servings per 3 oz bag, but they seriously feel like air. At first I even shook the bag to make sure there were chips in it. Ha, I’m a dork.
Pop Chips are not fried, or baked. They are popped, making them much better (a lot less fat and less calories, too) for you than regular chips.

I think the Pop Chips taste much better than baked potato chips, which I do admit I buy, but don’t love.
I realize Pop Chips aren’t the most healthy snack in the entire world, but I think just like most things, they are OK in moderation. And would make a good side for a picnic or burgers on the grill.
